Tutorial

Welcome to ONE TCG. This guide covers common tasks — creating collections and decks, trading with other players, AI analysis (temporarily suspended), public sharing, and customization. Each section can be opened from the table of contents.

1. Getting started

Create an account or sign in from the login page. A valid email is required: it is used for password recovery and security notifications. If you've forgotten your password, the "Forgot password?" link sends a reset email (valid for 1 hour).

Once signed in, complete your profile at /profile: username, avatar, biography. Your username will appear publicly alongside your shared content (public decks, profiles, post-trade reviews).

2. Collections

A collection groups the cards you own for a given game (Magic, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece). Create one from the "+ New collection" menu in the sidebar: choose the TCG, give it a name, and — optionally — a cover image.

From the collection page, you can:

  • add cards in bulk via search ("Add");
  • import a pasted list (CSV or plain list) via "Import";
  • filter by rarity, set, language, type; sort by name, price, rarity, quantity, or date added;
  • select multiple cards (selection mode) to delete them, move them to another collection, or bulk-add them to your wishlist / tradelist;
  • toggle the collection's visibility (private, friends, following, public) — the wishlist has its own independent visibility;
  • export as CSV or as a printable version.

Tip: the wishlist is tracked per collection. When you add a card to it, OneTCG automatically searches for users who have it in their tradelist (smart match) and suggests you contact them.

3. Decks

Create a deck from "+ New deck": choose the TCG, the format (Standard, Modern, Commander, etc.), and the visibility. The format drives automatic validation:

  • min/max sizes for the main deck and sideboard;
  • maximum copies per card (singleton for Commander, 4 max elsewhere);
  • mandatory Commander cards if the format requires them;
  • Scryfall banlist per card (banned / restricted / not_legal), applied automatically if the card has legality data.

In the deck page, you can: edit the list, add cards by zone (main / sideboard / commander), filter/sort (incl. converted cost and price), compare two decks side by side, fork a public deck, open the version history, and tag decks to find your archetypes.

4. Import / Export

To import a deck from elsewhere, open the deck's edit mode then click "Import": paste your list in MTGA format ("4 Lightning Bolt (M11)"), a plain list, or a Moxfield / Archidekt URL. OneTCG parses it, flags ambiguous lines (e.g. multiple possible editions), and lets you choose before the final import.

To import a collection in bulk, go to the collection page then "Import": paste a CSV with a header (`quantity,name,set,lang`) or a plain list. OneTCG exports can be re-imported as-is. Deckbox / Manabox aliases (`qty`, `card`, `card name`, `set_code`, `language`) are recognized.

For export, each deck offers an MTGA export (.txt) or CSV (.csv). Each collection offers a CSV export (.csv) or a printable version (PDF via the browser). CSV export is reserved for Premium and Legend accounts.

5. Trading with players

ONE TCG is a matchmaking platform — not a delivery or arbitration service. Always prefer in-person trades (meetups, events, stores). See Terms of Service §8.

The flow of a typical trade:

  1. you find a card you want by browsing public tradelists;
  2. you send an offer by selecting cards on both sides (mine ↔ theirs);
  3. the other party accepts, declines, or counter-offers;
  4. once the trade has happened in real life, each party confirms via the "I traded" button in the trades tab — the trade moves to `completed` when both have confirmed;
  5. once `completed`, you can rate each other (reputation across 4 axes: punctuality, condition, communication, accuracy).

If one party stops responding, the other can mark the trade as "unsuccessful" at any time (moves to `cancelled`, with anti-retraction to preserve history). No automatic deadline applies to accepted trades — a real trade can take weeks.

Mutual matching (Premium+) suggests trade partners with high overlap between your wishlists / tradelists. The "trusted trader" filter on the wishlist prioritizes users with a good reputation.

6. AI deck analysis

From a deck page, the "Analyze" button is intended to launch a hybrid evaluation combining internal heuristics (removal density, mana curve, land consistency) and a language model (Anthropic). This feature is temporarily suspended: the button does not run the analysis at the moment. When available, the analysis returns scores per axis and recommendations.

What you should know:

  • recommendations are indicative — not professional gameplay advice;
  • the request only transmits the card list, format, and TCG — no personal data;
  • this feature exists in the product but is temporarily suspended for all accounts. No numbered quota is advertised as a subscription benefit;
  • see Terms of Service §9 and Privacy Policy §5.

7. Dashboard

The home page is a modular dashboard. Enable "Edit" mode to add blocks, resize them, move them, or customize their colors. Premium and Legend accounts can create multiple pages.

You can share publicly your dashboard page from /profile → "Public dashboard": only showcase blocks (titles, global counts, public decks and collections) are exposed; private blocks (quotas, plan, friends, activity) are automatically hidden on the public page.

8. Report and block

On any suspicious profile, message, or content, the "Report" button sends the content to moderation with a reason (5 categories). A report can be tracked from /profile/moderation (statuses: open / reviewed / dismissed).

To stop all interaction with another user, open their profile then click "Block": blocks are applied at the database level and prevent messages, friend requests, and trade offers. A block can be lifted from the "Blocked" tab in /profile/moderation.

9. Plans and quotas

Three plans are available. Self-serve pricing is on /premium, not in this guide. Pro Seller is a distinct seller SKU (Terms of Service §6).

  • Free: 3 collections, 5 decks, limited scan quotas, single dashboard page.
  • Premium: self-serve subscription — unlimited collections / decks, multiple dashboard pages, CSV export, mutual matching, additional badges.
  • Legend: by invitation, not on Stripe — the same paid features as Premium, with higher caps.

Deck AI analysis exists in the product but is temporarily suspended for every plan. It is not a subscription benefit.

10. My data (GDPR)

From /profile → "My data", you can export all your data at any time in JSON format (profile, collections, decks, trades, messages). The file does not contain your password.

To close your account, go to the "Danger zone" on the same page. The deletion request is processed within 30 days and can be cancelled while it is pending. Processing details are in the privacy policy.

11. Shortcuts and tips

  • Cmd/Ctrl + K: command palette for quick navigation.
  • ? (outside a field): opens the keyboard shortcuts overlay.
  • The left sidebar is reorderable by drag-and-drop (edit mode on hover).
  • A click (or Enter / Space) on a card in your collections or in the catalogue opens its details. In a collection or a deck, the "Select" button turns on selection mode to act on several cards at once.
  • Card scanning via the camera is accessible from /scan (monthly quota depending on plan, resets on the 1st of the month Europe/Paris).
